Porcelain Brick
Driftwood Taupe Porcelain Brick
Weathered taupe and soft gray give this porcelain brick the muted, sun-faded look of salvaged masonry without the weight or uneven thickness of real reclaimed brick. It is a matte porcelain tile with the face of an old brick, and it offers more formats than any other color in the line: 2-1/3" x 10", 5" x 10" and a long 2" x 18".
The 10" brick reads like traditional face brick in running bond or herringbone. The 5" x 10" is closer to a paver proportion, and the 2" x 18" strip gives a slim, linear look for modern rooms. The supplier lists a DCOF above 0.42 for the line, so discuss floors as well as walls. Compare tones in our brick collection.

Taupe sits between warm and cool, so it pairs with white oak, walnut, blackened steel and greige paint without fighting any of them. A warm gray grout keeps the joints quiet; an off-white grout pulls out each brick outline. Use the 2-1/3" x 10" on backsplashes and fireplace surrounds, the 5" x 10" on mudroom or entry floors, and the 2" x 18" for a long feature wall.

About Driftwood Taupe Porcelain Brick
What sizes does Driftwood Taupe Porcelain Brick come in?
Three: 2-1/3" x 10", 5" x 10" and 2" x 18". All share the same matte finish and weathered taupe and gray color, so you can run one size on a wall and another on an adjoining floor while keeping the palette consistent.
Can I use Driftwood Taupe on a floor?
The supplier lists a DCOF above 0.42 for this porcelain brick line, a figure commonly referenced for level interior floors. The 5" x 10" is the most floor-like format. Confirm the specific room, substrate and setting method with your installer before ordering.
Does it look like real reclaimed brick?
It is designed to. The face carries weathered taupe and gray tones like aged brick, but it is porcelain tile, so it installs like tile and is thinner and more uniform than salvaged clay brick. Samples are the best way to judge the texture.
