XL Stacked Stone
Snowcap White XL Stacked Stone
White quartzite in a large-format panel, Snowcap White XL brightens big surfaces and works as a clean counterpoint to dark roofs, black windows and wood ceilings. The split-face strips cast crisp shadow lines that show up clearly on a pale stone.
Each flat panel is 9" x 24", with a 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner. It suits two-story fireplaces, exterior wainscots and entry walls in modern farmhouse and contemporary mountain homes. A smaller Snowcap White Mini is available at 4.5" x 16", half the height, with a 4.5" x 9" corner. Note that the mini is listed as marble while the XL is listed as quartzite, so compare samples if you plan to pair them. Light stone also reflects more sun than dark stone, a factor on exposed walls.
Bright whites vary more than you'd expect. Request a quote and samples, or see them in Draper or Payson by appointment.

Snowcap White XL pairs with black or bronze windows, warm oak, charcoal metal roofing and natural linen. Inside, a slightly warm white paint keeps the stone from looking gray by comparison. Use the L-corners on chimney and column corners. For a vanity or backsplash nearby, consider the mini, but check tone side by side because the listed materials differ.

About Snowcap White XL Stacked Stone
Is Snowcap White XL the same as Snowcap White Mini?
They share a name and white color, but the XL is listed as quartzite and the mini as marble. The XL panel is 9" x 24"; the mini is 4.5" x 16". Compare samples before using both in one space.
Will a white stone exterior show dirt?
Light stone shows dirt and staining more readily than darker tones. Ask your installer about a suitable sealer and maintenance plan, particularly near downspouts, soil lines, hose bibs and fireplace openings.
Can I use it in freeze-thaw climates?
Stacked stone is used on mountain exteriors, but how a wall holds up depends on the substrate, drainage and installation system. Confirm suitability for Park City or Heber conditions with your installer.
