Sundance Gold XL Stacked Stone

Slate in gold and brown tones gives Sundance Gold XL an earthy, lodge-friendly character. The split-face strips show slate's layered cleft, and the 9" panel height keeps the pattern bold enough for large surfaces.

Formats are a 9" x 24" flat panel and a 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner. Picture it on a cabin fireplace that rises two stories, a stone base wrapping a timber porch, or a basement bar where warm color offsets a lack of daylight. Because brown deepens the gold, it reads warmer and more rustic than a pure gold stone. If you prefer gold in a brighter quartzite, compare Honeycomb Gold XL, which shares the same panel size. Sundance Gold sits well with rough-sawn timber, hand-forged iron, leather and warm cream walls. Dark bronze fixtures suit it better than polished chrome. On an exterior, pair it with dark brown or black trim.     How does Sundance Gold differ from Honeycomb Gold XL?

    Both use the 9" x 24" XL panel and 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner. Sundance Gold is slate in gold and brown; Honeycomb Gold is quartzite in a golden tone. Sundance reads more rustic and earthy, Honeycomb brighter.

    Does it work for a mountain cabin exterior?

    The gold-brown color suits timber and log construction. In freeze-thaw areas like Park City and Heber, confirm the wall assembly, drainage and installation method with your installer before ordering for an exterior.

    Is there a mini version?

    No mini or standard version of Sundance Gold is listed; it comes in the XL size only. For smaller areas, ask Stone Era about other warm-toned panels in the stacked stone range.
