Stacked Stone Panels
Black Veil Marble Stacked Stone
Black marble with white veining makes Black Veil a high-contrast choice among stacked stone panels. Splitting the marble into strips breaks the veining into short, irregular streaks, so the wall reads as textured and graphic rather than polished and formal.
It is supplied as a 6" x 24" split-face flat panel with a 6" x 12" x 6" L-corner. The look suits modern homes in Alpine, Draper and Highland: a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, an entry wall, a bar back or a powder-room feature. Because marble varies from piece to piece, some panels carry more white than others, which adds movement over a large wall. Dark stone absorbs heat, so for sun-facing exterior walls talk through placement with your installer. More options are in our natural stone category.

Black Veil does well with restraint around it: white plaster, pale oak, brushed brass or polished nickel. Skip busy patterned tile nearby. For a fireplace, a slim black steel or white stone hearth keeps the focus on the veining. Use L-corners on any exposed return, and have your installer distribute high-white panels evenly so veining doesn't cluster in one area of the wall.

About Black Veil Marble Stacked Stone
How much white veining is in each panel?
It varies. Marble is natural, so some panels show more white streaking than others. Order a sample, and ask your installer to blend panels from several boxes so the veining reads evenly across the whole wall.
Is black marble a good choice for a south-facing exterior?
Dark stone absorbs more heat than light stone, which matters on sunny walls in places like St. George. Discuss exposure, substrate and the installation system with your installer before using it outdoors.
Is the marble polished?
No. The panels are split face, giving a rough natural cleft surface. That texture softens the contrast compared with polished black marble slab and lets the white veining appear as short, broken streaks.
