Manufactured Stone Veneer

Chestnut Earth Manufactured Stone

Chocolate brown with the depth of wet earth, Chestnut Earth is for builders who want a darker, grounded wall without going all the way to charcoal. This concrete manufactured stone comes in random-size flats and random-size corners, with a natural finish that keeps the faces uneven and organic.

Rich browns pair naturally with mountain-style homes, timber framing and cabin-inspired interiors, and a darker color tends to hide dust better than pale stone at entries and wainscots. Since manufactured stone is lighter than full natural stone, it often shows up on fireplace walls and accent columns; confirm the right installation method with your installer. Compare it with other tones in our stone veneer collection.

Chestnut Earth reads best with a warm gray or brown mortar; a bright white joint creates strong contrast and a busier look. Pair it with walnut or knotty stained wood, oil-rubbed bronze, black iron and cream plaster. On gable ends and porch columns, wrap outside edges with the corner pieces so the brown carries around the turn instead of stopping at a visible edge.

    Questions

    About Chestnut Earth Manufactured Stone

Will Chestnut Earth look too dark on a large wall?

Deep brown can feel heavy across a full facade, so many designers keep it to lower wainscots, columns or a fireplace and pair it with lighter siding above. Viewing a sample in daylight on your site is the best way to judge it.

Can it go on a cabin in Park City or Heber?

The color suits mountain architecture well. Freeze-thaw cycles in those areas make proper installation important, including water management behind the veneer, so confirm the method and suitability for your specific wall with your installer.

Are corners included with the flats?

Corners are their own random-size pieces sold alongside the flats. Measure the linear feet of outside corners separately from the flat wall area, and our team can help you put the order together from there.
