Reclaimed Red porcelain brick tile, 2 by 18 inch, in weathered red-brown tones
Porcelain Brick

Reclaimed Red Porcelain Brick

Long, thin and weathered, this red-brown brick borrows the color of salvaged masonry but stretches it into a 2" x 18" format that feels more contemporary than a standard brick.

Reclaimed Red Porcelain Brick is matte porcelain tile, so it installs with tile methods and keeps a consistent thickness from piece to piece. The long proportion means fewer vertical joints and a strong horizontal line, which suits modern kitchens, office walls, restaurant-style bars and stair walls in clean-lined homes around Draper and Highland. The supplier lists a DCOF above 0.42 for the porcelain brick line. For a shorter red brick with cream weathering, compare Brickyard Red Porcelain Brick; the rest of the colors are in our brick collection.

Sizes are nominal. Confirm dimensions, thickness and finish with Stone Era before ordering.

The 2" x 18" size looks best in running bond with a half or one-third offset; ask your installer which suits your wall width. Pair with blackened steel, concrete counters, walnut and simple flat-panel cabinets. A mid-gray grout gives a worn-mortar look, while dark grout keeps the red rich. Corner pieces are not listed, so plan a trim or mitered detail for outside edges.

    Questions

    About Reclaimed Red Porcelain Brick

Is Reclaimed Red available in a standard brick size?

It is offered only in 2" x 18". For a 2-1/3" x 10" red brick, look at Brickyard Red Porcelain Brick, which adds cream weathering and also comes in the 2" x 18" size.

How do I finish outside corners?

Corner pieces are not listed for this product, so outside corners are usually handled with mitered cuts or a metal trim profile. Discuss the options with your installer before ordering so the detail is planned rather than improvised on site.

Where does the long format look best?

Long, narrow bricks emphasize horizontal lines, so they suit wide walls such as a kitchen run, a living-room feature wall or a stairwell. On small, narrow walls, a shorter brick may give a better sense of scale.
