Silver Mist Travertine Mini Stacked Stone

Scaled down for detail work, this mini panel cuts light gray Silver Mist travertine into slim split-face strips. The 4.5" x 16" flat panel and 4.5" x 9" corner create a finer, tighter pattern than the larger formats, so it suits backsplashes, niches, bar fronts and shorter wall runs.

The same color is available as Silver Mist Travertine XL Stacked Stone, whose 9" x 24" panels are twice as tall and one and a half times as long. The XL reads bolder from across a room and covers big walls with fewer joints; the mini keeps texture in proportion up close. Silver Mist also appears as tumbled travertine pavers, so a patio and an outdoor-kitchen backsplash can share one color.

Choose the mini for spaces viewed up close: a kitchen backsplash, a vanity wall, a fireplace with a short surround. Pair it with light gray grout on adjacent tile, white oak and brushed nickel. Use the 4.5" x 9" corners on any exposed edge so the coursing turns cleanly. On a large great-room wall, the XL version will usually look more proportional.

    About Silver Mist Travertine Mini Stacked Stone

    What's the difference between the mini and XL Silver Mist panels?

    Same light gray travertine, different scale. The mini is a 4.5" x 16" panel with a 4.5" x 9" corner; the XL is 9" x 24" with a 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner. Mini suits close-up areas, XL suits large walls.

    Can I match it to Silver Mist pavers or coping?

    Yes. Silver Mist Travertine is also offered as tumbled pavers and as coping. Their finishes differ from the split-face panels, so compare samples to see how the textures sit together before you finalize the plan.

    Is the mini panel good for a kitchen backsplash?

    Its small module works well at backsplash scale. Travertine is naturally porous, so ask your installer about sealing and how close to the cooktop the panels can be installed safely.
