Reclaimed White porcelain brick tile, 2 by 18 inch, whitewashed with rust-brown patches
Porcelain Brick

Reclaimed White Porcelain Brick

Picture a red brick wall that someone limewashed years ago, with rust-brown showing through where the white has worn thin. Reclaimed White Porcelain Brick reproduces that layered look on a matte porcelain tile.

It comes in one size, a long 2" x 18", which gives the patchy whitewash room to read across each piece and creates strong horizontal lines. That mix of rustic surface and modern proportion fits transitional kitchens, mudroom walls, bedroom accent walls and restaurant-style dining rooms. The supplier lists a DCOF above 0.42 for the porcelain brick line. If you want an even, clean white instead, compare Whitewash Porcelain Brick; the full lineup is in our brick collection.

Because the rust-brown patches define the look, seeing several pieces helps. Ask for samples when you request a quote, or visit our Draper & Payson showroom by appointment.

Pull the rust-brown into the rest of the room with cognac leather, warm wood, terracotta or copper. An off-white grout blends with the whitewash for a soft, painted look; a light gray grout adds definition. Have your installer blend pieces from several boxes so the patches spread evenly. Corners are not listed, so plan a trim or mitered detail where the wall turns.

    Questions

    About Reclaimed White Porcelain Brick

How is Reclaimed White different from Whitewash Porcelain Brick?

Whitewash is a clean, even white. Reclaimed White is whitewashed with rust-brown patches showing through, like aged painted brick, and comes only in 2" x 18". Choose Reclaimed White for character and Whitewash for a crisp, uniform wall.

Should I mix pieces from different boxes?

Yes, that is good practice with a patterned surface like this one. Have your installer pull from several boxes while setting so the rust-brown patches distribute naturally instead of clustering in one area of the wall.

What size is Reclaimed White Porcelain Brick?

It comes in one size, 2" x 18", with a matte finish. The long proportion gives the whitewash pattern room to show across each piece and creates fewer vertical joints than a standard brick.
