XL Stacked Stone
Anthracite XL Stacked Stone
Anthracite is a black quartzite in the XL panel size, aimed at dark, modern walls with real stone texture. In split-face strips, the quartzite gives a black surface subtle variation instead of a flat, painted look.
The flat panel is 9" x 24". Its corner is listed at 9" x 18", a different piece than the 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner on most XL colors, so confirm corner layout with your installer before ordering. Use it on fireplace walls, media walls, modern exterior entries or as a dark base course below lighter siding. Compared with Midnight Slate XL, also black, Anthracite is quartzite rather than slate, so the surface character differs; samples make the choice easier.

Sizes are nominal; random-size products are supplied in mixed pieces. Confirm dimensions, coverage and quantities with Stone Era before ordering.
Anthracite pairs with white oak, pale limestone, blackened or raw steel and large expanses of glass. Keep metal finishes either very light or matte black rather than in between. Because dark stone absorbs heat, favor shaded or covered exterior walls and confirm details with your installer. Count 9" x 18" corners for every outside corner of chimneys and columns when estimating.

- Fireplace surrounds
- Exterior facades, columns and wainscot
- Outdoor kitchens and seat walls

Confirm substrate, exposure and installation method with your installer before specifying.
About Anthracite XL Stacked Stone
What corner comes with Anthracite XL?
The listing shows a 9" x 18" corner rather than the 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner used on most XL colors. Ask your installer to confirm how it lays out on your outside corners before you order.
How is it different from Midnight Slate XL?
Both are black XL panels at 9" x 24". Anthracite is quartzite and Midnight Slate is slate, so texture and the way they catch light differ. Side-by-side samples are the best way to choose between them.
Can I use it on a sunny exterior?
Black stone absorbs heat, which matters on south- and west-facing walls. Covered entries and shaded walls are easier placements; confirm exposure, substrate and installation details with your installer before ordering.
