Mini Stacked Stone
Midnight Slate Mini Stacked Stone
Black slate in a slim profile, Midnight Slate Mini gives a deep, dark backdrop with the natural layered cleft of split stone. The scale is small enough to wrap a kitchen island or bar front without overwhelming it.
The flat panel is 4.5" x 16" and the matching corner is 4.5" x 9". Contrast drives the look: pair it with pale cabinetry, light countertops or warm wood and the black reads intentional rather than heavy. For the same color on a bigger surface, see Midnight Slate XL, a 9" x 24" panel with a 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner. The XL doubles the course height, so it fits tall fireplaces and exterior walls, while the mini works at arm's length. Dark stone absorbs heat, so ask your installer about sun-facing exterior placements.

Midnight Slate Mini looks best with clear contrast: white oak, light quartz, brushed brass or copper, and white or light gray walls. Under-cabinet or wall-washer lighting brings out the cleft texture that black stone can otherwise hide. Use the 4.5" x 9" corners on island ends and bar returns. For a large fireplace in the same room, switch to the XL version.

About Midnight Slate Mini Stacked Stone
How does Midnight Slate Mini compare with Midnight Slate XL?
Both are black split-face slate. The mini panel is 4.5" x 16" with a 4.5" x 9" corner; the XL panel is 9" x 24" with a 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner. Use mini on islands and backsplashes, XL on tall walls.
Will black slate make a small room feel dark?
It can when it covers a large area. In smaller rooms, limit it to an island front, bar or single accent wall, and balance it with light finishes and good lighting so the texture stays visible.
Can I use it outside?
Dark stone absorbs heat, especially on sun-facing walls. Exterior suitability depends on climate exposure, substrate and the installation system, so confirm the method with your installer before ordering for an outdoor project.
