Salt Flat Porcelain Pavers

The Bonneville Salt Flats are a bright, nearly white expanse, and the name fits this paver: white porcelain with fine speckling in a terrazzo look, finished matte at 2 cm (3/4") thick.

Because the speckle is fine, from a few steps away it reads as a clean, light surface, with subtle texture up close. Choose 24" x 24" for courtyards and walkways or 24" x 48" for wide patios and pool decks where fewer joints matter. Light colors reflect more sun than dark stone, which helps on exposed decks in St. George. Salt Flat suits modern desert architecture: white stucco, warm wood soffits, black window frames and rust or bronze accents. Pair it with a white or very light gray joint for a seamless look. Use the 24" x 48" format on large open decks and the 24" x 24" around curves, steps and planters. Structural plantings like agave and grasses suit the clean surface.

About Salt Flat Porcelain Pavers

How is Salt Flat different from Frost Terrazzo?

Both are terrazzo-look porcelain. Salt Flat is white with fine speckling and comes in 24" x 24" and 24" x 48". Frost Terrazzo is a soft white with gray and white flecks and comes in 24" x 24" only.

Is a white paver practical around a pool?

Light pavers reflect more sun than dark ones, which helps comfort in hot weather. They also show dirt and leaves more readily, so plan for regular rinsing. Confirm the setting method and drainage with your installer.

What thickness are Salt Flat pavers?

Salt Flat pavers are 2 cm, about 3/4", porcelain with a matte finish. Your installer will choose the right base or setting method for that thickness and for your specific patio, deck or walkway.
