Silver Mist Travertine XL Stacked Stone

Silver Mist travertine at a larger scale: the XL panel stands 9" tall and 24" long, so each course is bolder and a large wall needs fewer panels and fewer joints. The light gray split-face strips show natural travertine texture and color variation.

A 9" x 12" x 6" L-corner wraps outside corners. This size suits two-story fireplaces, exterior entries and long garden walls. For backsplashes and smaller walls, Silver Mist Mini uses the same color in a 4.5" x 16" panel at half the height. Outdoors, the XL can tie into Silver Mist Travertine coping and matching pavers, giving a pool area or patio one consistent light gray. Pale stone also reflects more sun than dark stone, a helpful trait in St. George backyards.

For a pool wall or outdoor kitchen, clad vertical faces with the XL, cap them with Silver Mist coping and use Silver Mist pavers on the deck; the finishes differ, so check samples together. Inside, pair it with white oak, linen and matte black. Use L-corners on columns and wall ends, and save the mini for close-up areas like a bar back.

    How much bigger is the XL than the mini?

    The XL flat is 9" x 24" versus the mini's 4.5" x 16", so it is twice as tall and one and a half times as long. Larger panels mean bolder courses and fewer joints on big walls.

    Can I coordinate it with a pool deck?

    Silver Mist Travertine is also offered as tumbled pavers and as coping in honed, tumbled and brushed options. The color family matches while textures differ. Confirm pool-area suitability and installation details with your installer.

    Will it get hot in the sun?

    Light-colored stone reflects more sunlight and generally stays cooler than dark stone. That makes the pale gray a sensible design choice for sunny walls, though exposure and installation should still be reviewed with your installer.
