Coping
Silver Mist Travertine
Light silver-gray with high variation, Silver Mist brings a cooler tone to travertine coping. Some pieces read paler, others deeper, which gives the pool edge natural movement.
Five pieces are listed: 12x24 and 16x24 in 2 in honed full bullnose; 12x24 and 16x24 in 2 in honed unfilled and brushed with eased edges; and a 12x24 in 3 cm tumbled, with edge options on request. Choose the tumbled piece if you are pairing it with tumbled pavers and want the aged look to continue. The honed bullnose suits classic pools; eased edges feel more contemporary. Match the deck with Silver Mist Travertine pavers, or tie in a wall with Silver Mist mini stacked stone.
Variation this wide is easiest to judge in person. Ask for a quote and samples, and visit our Draper or Payson showroom by appointment.

Silver Mist sits comfortably with white or light gray plaster, charcoal window frames, brushed stainless and light woods. Use a light gray joint for a soft look. The 3 cm tumbled piece pairs naturally with the 3 cm tumbled pavers; the 2 in pieces give a thicker, more defined edge. Ask your installer to blend boxes so the high variation spreads evenly around the pool.

About Silver Mist Travertine
Which Silver Mist coping matches the tumbled pavers best?
The 12x24, 3 cm tumbled piece shares the same thickness and finish as the Silver Mist pavers, so it carries the aged look straight to the edge. Edge options for that piece are available on request.
What is the difference between full bullnose and eased edges?
A full bullnose is fully rounded, comfortable to sit on and grab from the water. An eased edge is squared with the sharp corner slightly softened, giving a cleaner, more modern line around the pool.
Is light gray coping a good fit for St. George pools?
Lighter stone generally stays more comfortable underfoot in full sun than dark stone, so a silver-gray edge is a sensible choice for desert pools. Confirm drainage, installation method and sealing with your installer for your specific pool.
