Porcelain Pavers
Charcoal Cement Porcelain Pavers
Dark, concrete-look porcelain gives a patio the poured, architectural feel of board-formed walls and steel railings. Charcoal Cement Porcelain Pavers come in a dark charcoal gray at 2 cm (3/4") thick with a matte finish.
Choose 24" x 24" for a modular grid or 24" x 48" for long, minimal lines on rooftop decks, entry courts and modern backyards in Alpine, Highland and Draper. One honest note: dark surfaces absorb heat, so on an open pool deck in full desert sun, a lighter option such as Foundry Gray Porcelain Pavers may be more comfortable underfoot. Charcoal earns its place in shaded courtyards, covered patios and mountain homes. See the full range on our pavers page.

Charcoal Cement pairs with white stucco, cedar or ipe, black window frames and silver-green plantings like sage and lavender. A charcoal joint gives a monolithic look; a lighter gray joint shows the grid. Use 24" x 48" on open terraces and 24" x 24" where there are steps and corners. Dark pavers can show dust and water spots, so plan for routine rinsing.

About Charcoal Cement Porcelain Pavers
Will dark charcoal pavers get hot?
Dark surfaces absorb more heat than light ones, so in direct summer sun they can get noticeably warm. Charcoal Cement suits shaded patios, covered areas and cooler mountain sites best. For exposed pool decks, consider a lighter paver.
What sizes does Charcoal Cement come in?
Two: 24" x 24" and 24" x 48", both 2 cm (3/4") matte porcelain in dark charcoal gray. Using both in one project, such as squares on a path and long pieces on a terrace, keeps the color consistent.
Does it look like real concrete?
It is porcelain with a concrete look, giving the even, cement-gray character of poured concrete in a paver format. The matte finish avoids the shine of polished surfaces and keeps the look architectural.
