Porcelain Pavers
Slate Blue Porcelain Pavers
Bluestone has long been a staple of traditional terraces and garden walks. Slate Blue Porcelain Pavers bring its deep blue-gray color to 2 cm (3/4") porcelain with a matte finish.
There are two ways to buy it: a single 24" x 24" for a crisp grid, or a pattern kit made up of two 12" x 12", one 12" x 24" and one 24" x 24" piece for a random, ashlar-style layout. The pattern kit softens a large patio and reads more traditional; the square looks more modern. Deep blue-gray suits mountain settings like Park City and Heber and works with shingle-style and traditional homes. Like any dark paver, it absorbs more heat in direct sun. If you prefer natural stone, see Storm Bluestone Pavers; more options are on our pavers page.

Blue-gray pairs with white trim, gray shingles, cedar and black or zinc metal. Use a charcoal or mid-gray joint. Choose the pattern kit for big patios and garden terraces where a random layout hides repetition, and the 24" x 24" for modern entries and rooftop decks. For pool or step edges, a bluestone-toned coping such as natural Storm Bluestone keeps the color continuous.

About Slate Blue Porcelain Pavers
What's in the Slate Blue pattern kit?
Each kit includes two 12" x 12", one 12" x 24" and one 24" x 24" piece, which combine into a random ashlar-style layout. Your installer will plan the pattern so repeats are not obvious across the patio.
Is Slate Blue real bluestone?
No, it is porcelain with a bluestone look in a deep blue-gray. For genuine stone in a similar palette, compare Storm Bluestone Pavers, a natural bluestone (sandstone) paver with a flamed finish.
Will Slate Blue get hot in the sun?
Deep blue-gray absorbs more heat than light colors, so it can warm up in direct summer sun. It suits partly shaded patios, mountain homes and covered areas especially well; plan shade for fully exposed spaces.
